A collaborative planning application that brings people, project capacity and revenue into one workspace. Monthly allocations connect to weekly detail, staffing costs, expected revenue and planning risks.
My role
Sole full stack developer, working as a contractor with Iterators over a six-month development period. I designed and implemented the interface, shared domain logic, API and database persistence.
What I delivered
- Built drag-and-drop allocation planning with monthly perspectives and weekly capacity views.
- Shared typed calculations for staffing costs, revenue and margin between the interface and API.
- Implemented SAML authentication, access administration, audit logging and collaborative presence.
- Added domain, API and interface tests, plus Docker Compose and Caddy deployment configuration.
The challenge
Keep planning calculations consistent across interactive views and concurrent edits while retaining the API and PostgreSQL as the durable source of business data.
